SERVICES

CDR was engaged in Southwest Florida in response to emergent medical needs post-Hurricane Ian, responsible for three major healthcare missions.

  1. A 1000-bed Alternate Care Site/Low-Acuity Medical Surgical Hospital to support efforts in decompressing the major healthcare system in Lee County;
  2. Two 10-bed Freestanding Emergency Departments to manage higher-acuity patients for stabilization and transport, discharge, or admittance into our ACS; and
  3. A Mobile Specialty Diagnostic Vehicle (MSDV) equipped to provide primary and urgent medical needs assistance in various locations post-storm, where demand for services was most needed.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Within 72 hours of landfall, CDR launched one turnkey 1,000 bed, field
  • Launched two (2) field emergency
  • Provided one (1) mobile specialty diagnostic and urgent care
  • Provided 150 supplemental clinical and support staff for sheltering
  • Deployed approximately 600 support
  • Appropriately and expeditiously respond to any adverse events or other medical emergencies and provide patients with the appropriate level of care on-site or arrange for appropriate transportation for care off-site.
  • Ensured all staff follow all relevant infection control protocols (e.g., wearing appropriate PPE).
  • Provide ancillary support positions including Admissions, Registration and Discharge, Medical Records, IT, Inventory Management, X-Ray, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Social Works, and Psychologists.
