Refugee Health Services

IN AN AIM TO ADDRESS THE CRITICAL BACKLOG OF THE REFUGEE HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM, CDR HEALTH NOW OPERATES FIVE HEALTH ASSESSMENT CENTERS ACROSS THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

AT THE HEART OF THIS PARTNERSHIP IS A MULTI-LINGUAL AND MULTI-CULTURAL APPROACH TO HEALTHCARE DELIVERY

Eligible individuals, including Refugees, Asylees, Cuban & Haitian Asylum Applicants, Cuban & Haitian Entrants, Amerasians, Iraqi/Afghan special immigrants, and victims of human trafficking, are now benefiting from much-needed health assessments and immunizations through CDR Health’s Refugee Health Assessment Centers.
CDR Health conducts a thorough initial health assessment, encompassing lab tests, vaccinations, and a comprehensive health evaluation—all within 90 days. The main goal of the assessment is to offer healthcare and resources to refugees while promptly detecting and managing communicable diseases among newcomers, thereby safeguarding public health.
CDR’s initial Health Assessment Center launched in December 2022 in Miami-Dade County, with over 60,000 refugees needing the services. Due to initial success with the first Health Assessment Center, we have expanded to 4 additional locations, now serving 8 counties across the State of Florida.
Miami-Dade County – Doral, FL

Orange County + Osceola County – Orlando, FL

Lee County + Collier County – Naples, FL

Duval County – Jacksonville, FL

Hillsborough County + Pinellas County – Tampa, FL
